Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the terror attacks near Eilat Thursday, which killed six civilians and one soldier, and wounded 31 people. “Israel will exact a heavy price from terror chiefs,” he said.
Netanyahu expressed his condolences for families of victims. “If there is anyone who thinks Israel will accept this they are wrong,” he told reporters during a short briefing.
“I have decided on a principle – when you hurt Israeli citizens we respond immediately and with force. This principle was implemented today. The people who gave the orders to murder our citizens and then hid in Gaza are no longer among us.”
Netanyahu commended the IDF and Shin Bet for the Gaza strike carried out earlier, which killed six people in Rafah, among them two top leaders of the Popular Resistance Committees.

one things doesnt make sense to me, if a couple hours after the attack they know everything about the attack and who planned it and gave orders to carry it out, then why is it so hard to get this information a couple of hours earlier before the attack and take measures to prevent it?
eric55 – many many times they do – but its not on YWN when they catch them before something happens so that is why you do not know about it. Unfortunealty – today they only found out afterward s which is still amazing – but of course sad that this had to happen today
Great, Bibi – keep shaking hands with Holcaust denier/ Islamic terrorist Abu Mazen, the paymaster behind the Munich Massacre.
Here’s something I don’t understand: we read that every time there’s a rocket attack, the IDF destroys an illegal tunnel in Gaza.
Question: Why wait? If the tunnel is being used for illegal purposes, destroy it BEFORE there’s a rocket attack. Carpet bomb Gaza NOW.
How could they find them that fast and kill them why couldn’t they stop them and kill these head terrorists before
I’ll tell you how to exact a heavy price. For every one jew/israeli they kill we kill bomb 10,000 of them! Period end of story. If the gov’t really wants to protect the people and they really cared they would have this policy.
HoRav, why don’t you ask your profound kashos when we do prevent attacks from taking place? Israel had information of imminent terrorist attack, but the security forces expected it to play out in a different way. We also make mistakes, but we learn from them and try better in the next round. How about YOU?
Israel is today be’ezrat HaShem the envy of the Americans, Europeans, Russians in the scientific, economic, and military fields. Of course the Arabs are green with envy for all these reasons.
May we act in ways pleasing to Hashem so that we earn His protection.
